Dear Readers,

I'm so happy to be here at RT's Ask An Author! Thanks to them for extending the invitation, and even though it's going to be busy these two weeks with the American Thanksgiving and all, I'm sure we'll have lots of fun. I'm looking forward to hearing what's on your mind and to answering questions you might have.

My new books, a paranormal romance series (without vampires or shapeshifters!) is set in post-apocalyptic America and will be coming out in early 2010. The first book, Beyond the Night, is released in January, the second (Embrace the Night Eternal) in February, and the third (Abandon the Night) in March.

Some of you may be familiar with my other series, The Gardella Vampire Chronicles, which were about a female vampire hunter who lives in Regency-era England. There are five books in that series, and they are non-traditional romances in the sense that there isn't a happy ending until the fifth and final book (which was released last March). But the love triangle is resolved in the last book--I promise!

I live near Ann Arbor and write full-time. When I'm not writing, I love to read (of course), watch movies, cook and hang out with my children and husband. Some of the shows I've become addicted to are Veronica Mars, BBC America's Robin Hood, Castle, Glee, 30 Rock, and of course Buffy!

Looking forward to hanging out with you and talking about all things book/movie/hot-guy related. Maybe even some cooking topics, too, since it's coming up on Thanksgiving!
