If you like Janet Evanovich I suggest trying the books of Lois Greiman. I read UNSCREWED and UNMANNED and enjoyed both. She has a new one out now that I just ordered. Has anyone else read her? Cathie

Nope haven't read Lois Greiman. What's Lois' books about? Are they similiar to Janet Evanovitch's Stephanie Plum mystery series or are you referring to the romance novels that Janet writes? Which one are you talking about? I'm rather a bit confused here. I have read several of Janet's Stephanie Plum mystery series books and find them ok but I'm not sure about reading the rest of the series. Posters on the Romantic times message forum complained about how annoying Stephanie got while reading the series and were put off with reading more of the books.

I'm talking about the Stephanie Plum books. The romances are reissues of Janet's books for Loveswept a number of years ago (think in the 80's or early 90's) Some may not like Stephanie Plum but Evanovitch's hardcover books continue to hit number 1 on the NYT list so lots of people do enjoy them. for those people, I'd ecommend the Lois Greiman books, although this series does perhaps have a stronger mystery element. Oh, I love Janet's Stephanie Plum novels! They are hilarious! If you like them, then also try Christie Craig. Though not quite as funny, they are pretty similar.
I like Lois Greiman, but sometimes her stories are good, sometimes not so good. Still like her, though.
