This was just recently released by loose-id, so I don't know if anyone has had the chance to read it. I can't find any reviews on it at all. For anyone that might have read it, how is it? Is it good or bad.

tnf0920 did you read this book yet? I looked it up after you posted this and thought it looked like a good read, but @ 7.99 for an e-book from an author I do not know and no reviews out there, I would rather wait for for a review.

Sorry, yes I did read it, I didn't think about posting about it when I was done.

It's heavy in the BDSM theme and leans more to the S&M, it never does anything too brutal or gross. It has a lot of the hero spanking the herione with lots of different tools and not a light or even mild spanking, it's to cause her pain because that's what he gets off on, strangely enough so does she. He also seems to like to humilate and degrade her, again nothing gross, just how he talks to her and things he expects her to do.

I'm torn between liking it and not liking it, even though she signed up for what she got with him, I still had a hard time focusing on the fact that she got off on it just as much as he did.

Other then that Annabel is a great author, it's a well written story, she knows what she's doing.

Thanks for the info. Does it have a HEA? I see from the excerpt from Loose ID that he gets her fired from her job and kicked out of her apartment, was he really that bad? Does he redeem himself in the end?

Yes, he was really that bad, he did make her lose her job and then her apartment, which left her with no where to go cept signing his contract and going with him.

It did in a sense have an HEA, they ended up together and expressed their emotions, but I never felt that he made all the hateful things he did to her up to her. And he did a lot.

It really is a good read, you can't just go in there expecting low bondage stuff, like I said, it's S&M - he spanks with his hand, big paddle, belts, riding crop and a cane, which is the worst for her. You also can't really look too much at the stuff he does and call him a bastard because she signed a contract that stated what she would be getting in to and that things were going to go his way...not to mention she liked the majority of it.
