Aren't there already a few threads already on really sad romances? Or heart-wrenching or heart-twisting or something like that? I can't find them! I admit, as awful as this may sound, I'm kind of in the mood to read somethng, well, sad. I just read one where the heroine thought she had a bad disease, but no....she was just fine. Wasn't the tiniest bit sick. but she was undeappreciated, etc.
Anyway, if you know what posts I am thinking of (if I haven't imagined them, that is) could you point me in the correct direction?
Thanks! _________________ There is one thing worse than a loveless marriage. A marriage in which there is love, but on one side only.

Glen - I recommend Always to Remember by Lorraine Heath, if you haven't read it.
Both RT and AAR review the book. |

Hey, GP!
Here is a link to the Faves board Heart Twisters - Faves
I just finished Raintree by Sandra Brown (11/09) courtesy of the Library, and it is exactly what you described... heart wrenchingly sad. You know within the first few pages going in that it won't be a traditional happy ending. My rating is A Subtle.

Thank you all -- and Danielle and Janie -- those were indeed the links I was thinking of, but just wasn't inputting the correct combination of words for them to come up with the search engine.
Now I'll have to go see which ones my library owns... _________________ There is one thing worse than a loveless marriage. A marriage in which there is love, but on one side only.

| Dream a Little Dream by Susan Elizabeth Phillips. This story is one I read from time to time and I just finishined it and had a good cry. It does have a happy ending but getting there is very emotional and heart wrenching. |
