What are some of the most awaited books, books you have been looking forward to for years but have not been published for whatever reason?
For me it would be THE ASSASSIN by Elizabeth Elliott. Still patiently waiting for it, for years now (more than 10 years).
Hopefully it will come out next year. Keeping my fingers crossed.
What about you?
Jenny

Patience/Primrose - Lisa Valdez (yeah, right!)
Shameless - Karen Robards
Lord Shameless - Pamela Britton (no sign of the start of this long-awaited (by me!)trilogy although it's supposed to come out in January)
The final of the Rocky Mountain Trilogy by Nicole Jordan.

I've been waiting for the same books, Sheila.
I think the "Lord" series is going to be like Patience -- will we ever see it? And then when it does come out would I care!?!?!? _________________ Ciao,

I hate having to wait a year for a book - like in the Fever series by Karen Marie Moning. I can't imagine waiting any longer - honestly - I would probably forget about the series!! I have a short memory span. _________________ Nothing beats a hammock in the shade, a light breeze, books to read and lots of time to enjoy them!! |

I've been waiting years for the third installment of the Banning Sisters trilogy from Karen Robards, Shameless. Who knows when that's coming out. It was supposed to be released like last year or the year before.
I'm also waiting for the next installment of Christina Dodd's governess bride series, In Bed With The Duke. Thankfully, that's coming out in March.
I'm also waiting for books from Barbara Pierce, Melanie George and Lauren Bach.
I don't want to go off topic but, a pet peeve of mine is when an author leaves the ending of a book on a cliff hangar and then stop writing. As a reader you expect there to be a book after that. I know that there issues like starting on a new genre or the publisher not picking up a contract, but the publishers shouldn't approve on a book ending on a cliff hangar and then decide they're not going to pick it up. It's just frustrating. Anyone else feel this way? _________________ il riso rende giovani. l'amore rende belli |

The final book in Nicole Jordan's Rockey Mountain series, and whatever book Judith McNaught has put off for the last couple of years.
I just loved the first two books of Nicole Jordan's Rocky Mountain series. I have dreams about book # 3!!!
Oh yes - From Susan Andersen's Sisterhood serices, Ava's book, which she stated in her newsletter was not going to be published. _________________ Teri P.

I'm with you, Ariel7013, Traed's story. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for Jean Auel's Earth Children lastest. Last I heard there are two more in the series. I thought "WHAT!" One more to finish, yes, but two? WOW! _________________ I'm still a hot babe but it comes in flashes now. Unknown author |

Yeah, same. I've also longed for Gregor and Mills from High Energy. Not gonna happen though.
Only other one is Patience by Lisa Valdez. I have more hope for that one. _________________ I've finally gotten the blog craze! Just my romance books ramblings really..... |

| I always forget the characters and get confused reading a book that has taken so long to come out. Hate it!! Feel like I have to re read the entire series to recognize any characters. |

Ditto on Nicole Jordan book!
Aren't western romance getting more and more popular these days? I think I read that somewhere.
If that is the case then maybe Nicole Jordan could start on the third installment of Rocky Mountain trilogy.
Also ditto on PATIENCE by Lisa Valdez but to tell the truth I've kind of given up on her. I don't think we'll ever see that book. Hope she proves me wrong.

Awww, c'mon, don't give up yet! I've been waiting for Mills & Gregor story from High Energy since it came out in 1996 and I only totally gave up last year. _________________ I've finally gotten the blog craze! Just my romance books ramblings really..... |

As I wrote in a previous post (books in 2010), I've been waiting for the conclusion of Jaid Black's Trek series for what seems like FOREVER. The first one came out in 2000 & I don't believe any have been published since '05 or '06. Her website says another 2 books have been added before her final one & they're supposed to come out in 2010....but I've seen the year changed every year the next one is "supposed" to come out.
The final book in Marly Chance's Oath series is also one I've been waiting for for YEARS! Her website also says she's still writing it. So, I guess I can still hope! _________________ "When I get a little money, I buy books; and if any is left, I buy food & clothes." Desiderius Erasmus |

I'm not sure if she'll ever write it, and even if she does that it will be the quality of story we all hoped for |

I completely forgot another long, long, long awaited book I've been waiting for. Waiting for the continuation of the Legacy series by Lora Leigh, especially for Arriane and Joshua's story.
Hope she writes it one day.................. _________________ I've finally gotten the blog craze! Just my romance books ramblings really..... |
