Originally from Baltimore, MD, Lauren Brathwaite moved to New York City and in 2003 earned a Masters Degree in Publishing from Pace University. She's worked with several publications including Footwear News, Condé Nast Traveler and O, The Oprah Magazine. A huge movie buff, when she's not reading of course, and hopes to publish a novel of women's fiction.
