General FAQ
LOCATING YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER
After you subscribe to Romantic Times BOOKreviews magazine and your first issue arrives, you can locate your 7 digit account
number on your mailing label:
It's the FIRST 7 digits of the number in the upper left-hand corner (between the # signs). IMPORTANT: Disregard any number
following the FIRST 7 digits.
Don't have your magazine label? Contact us to find out your account number.
(If you are part of our Bookstores That Care network, use the 7 digit
account number from your BTC invoice.)
This 7 digit number will register you for the SUBSCRIBERS ONLY exclusive
bonus content and also register you for the Romantic Times message boards.
If your subscription expires, you will no longer be able to access
exclusive bonus content, however, you will remain registered for the
message boards.
If you subscription expires and you re-subscribe you will be assigned a new 7 digit account number found on your new mailing label. To access the exclusive bonus content
you must update your profile with the new 7 digit account number.
Registering without account number will give you access to Romantic Times
message boards only. If you subscribe to Romantic Times BOOKreviews magazine
in the future, you would be able to update your registration with your 7
digits account number and gain access to exclusive bonus content.
CONTACT US FOR YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER
If you lost the label that comes with your magazine, you can contact customer service
( nancy@romantictimes.com ) with your name and

only after your first issue arrives, not before.

If you are registering for the first time, you can fill in your account number
in Account Number field.
If you are already registered and would like to add or update your account number, you can do

FAQ for Authors
AUTHOR PROFILES
Book reviews/authors profiles on our site are generated from printed version of Romantic Times BOOKreviews magazine.
Once your book is reviewed in the magazine, your review and author profile page will
go up on the site.
For more info on how to get your book reviewed, please see "Editorial & Book Submissions" page.
(Note: If the book is a multi author anthology, it will get an anthology authors profile, not individual profile for each author.)
Once your review/author profile is up, you can request to add or update your photo and/or
your URL. E-mail your photo - the bigger the size the better so we can crop it to our template and/or URL to webmaster@romantictimes.com.
AUTHOR LIST
All authors who have an author profile page (see AUTHOR PROFILES above) should be listed on Author List.
(Note: this does not apply to anthology author profiles.)
AUTHOR WEBSITES
All authors who have an author profile page (see AUTHOR PROFILES above) are entitled to list their URL
on their author profile page. Once it is there, it will also be automatically going to Author Websites section.
If you believe that a link to RT is a useful resource to your site visitors, feel free to add a link to us. You can use a text link or banners below and link them to
any page on our site that you would like to recommend to your visitors.

RECIPROCAL EXCHANGE
We are no longer doing reciprocal exchange program on this site. See AUTHOR WEBSITES above
on how to get listed on Author Websites pages. We'll attempt to contact all former reciprocal exchange participants
that do not qualify for Author Websites listing and notify them of termination of reciprocal exchange program.
Reviews FAQ
ROMANTIC SUSPENSE VS. SUSPENSE WITH ROMANTIC SUBPLOT
Books placed in the romantic suspense category have a lot more "romance" in them than those in the straight suspense category. In general, if a book is reviewed in the romantic suspense section it's make up of 50 percent romance and 50 percent suspense. The books in mystery and suspense are first and foremost suspense or mystery tales, though they often have a romantic subplot that is not the main goal of the story.
